DIY Headband Holder (Out Of A Clorox Container!)

DIY headband holder
How are you? I am organizing bathroom hair supplies! (fine, maybe the exclamation point was a bit of an exaggeration) Anyways, I have 2 smallish bins of cluttered, tangled, hair stuff, and am trying to figure out how to organize all of them. I’ve decided I’m going to post (or try to post) each thing I am doing to organize them, starting with headbands. Without further interruption, here is how to make a headband holder out of a Clorox container. (Note for ahead: don’t use acrylic paint)

Things you’ll need:
Empty Clorox container
Rice, or rocks, or sand, etc. (something to weigh down the container)
Something to decorate with, (NOT acrylic paint) or you can just leave it white.
Duct tape

Here is a picture of the Clorox container and rice I am using: (I don’t know why) πŸ˜‰

I peeled off the wrapper.

Painted it blue. (once more, do NOT use acrylic paint)

Poured in the bag of rice. (to weigh it down)
Added rice

Duct taped the lid. (I would have decorated it, but no one is going to be able to see it)

Then finally flipped it over and put the headbands on it.

You see why you shouldn’t use acrylic paint? (My mistake) I don’t know if another kind of paint would work or not. When I get the chance, I’ll put modge podge and glitter on it and post an update of the final result. πŸ™‚
Well, besides the paint scraping off, I think this turned out alright for being a random idea that popped into my head. πŸ˜‰
