Okay, It’s been 2 weeks since I last posted. Yeah, sorry about that. Can I make up for it with a chocolate mug cake recipe? Yay! I’m so excited to share this recipe with you!
This recipe has no sugar or dairy. What? Yeah, I know. Being a person with a big sweet tooth, I can say this recipe is as sweet as pie! (Get it? I said pie and we’re making a cake? I’ll stop now…)

This cake comes out moist and delicious, from your microwave! I’ve also topped it with a sugar free almond butter frosting.

Alright, enough stalling. Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
dash of salt
a bit over a 1/4 cup of almond or coconut milk
2 tablespoons of canola oil
2-4 tablespoons of 100% pure maple syrup (it depends on how much of a sweet tooth you have)

For The Frosting:
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 tablespoon of flour
2 tablespoons of 100% pure maple syrup
a few drops of liquid stevia (optional)

Directions:
Mix all of the dry ingredients in a mug. Pour in the wet ingredients and whisk until thoroughly combined. Depending on your microwave, microwave the batter for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes. While your cake is in the microwave, whisk together all of the frosting ingredients. Pour the frosting on top of the cake and enjoy!
